So Week 1 got off to a good start. I ran in the mornings in my neighborhood. Amit and I would leave at the same time, but since he would run more miles than me, he would come home after me. I am still pretty scared of hills. I tend to start walking every time I encounter one. This maybe a good thing because I don’t want to be spent running up the hill at a slow pace. I might as well walk and save up my energy. But I still have to overcome that fear anyway.
We both have been religious about stretching and icing after our run. And I must say, it is really helping us. We did some biking in the gym on Saturday. Just wanted to get in some cross training. I have been foam-rolling once a week but I need to do it more often.
All in all, a good first week.
